The Rotary Club of Toronto Foundation was established in 1964 to promote international understanding, goodwill and peace by supporting educational projects that help young people around the world live healthier, more productive lives.

Scholarships are awarded each year to students who demonstrate financial need and have demonstrated leadership qualities in school or community activities. The application deadline is March 2nd, 2022.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • -Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada at the time of application;

The BMO Financial Group Diversity Scholarship Program awards up to 15 scholarships annually. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, community involvement, leadership potential, and financial need.

3 Globalink Research Internship Program (GRIP) Scholarship

The Globalink Research Internship Program (GRIP) Scholarship is a fully funded research internship program administered by the Canadian University Service Overseas (CUSO). The scholarship provides funding for international students to conduct research on human rights issues in Canada. The program is open to applicants from developing countries with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Applicants must have completed at least two years of university studies and will be studying at an accredited institution in Canada for a full academic year.

The International Experience Canada (IEC) Scholarship Program is designed to boost the number of international students who study in Canada. This program offers scholarships for international students who wish to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies at Canadian universities and colleges. The scholarship is open to all countries, including the United States and Mexico.

The IEC Scholarship Program is open to all international students, who have completed their secondary education outside Canada and who want to study at a Canadian university or college. The program also covers high school graduates from any country who are studying in a career-oriented program.

The program is managed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) through its International Education Branch (IEC).
