The LExS offers a number of talented prospective students the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree program at Leiden University.

Leiden University was established in 1575 and is one of Europe’s leading international research universities. It has seven faculties in the arts, sciences and social sciences spread over locations in Leiden and The Hague.

The university ranks fifth among European universities according to the Times Higher Education Ranking.

The value of this scholarship is a Monthly stipend of € 2,000, which will only be awarded for 10 months.

University of Twente Scholarships (UTS)

The University of Twente Scholarships (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from both EU/EEA as well as non-EU/EEA countries, applying for a graduate program at the University of Twente. The UTS is a scholarship of € 11.250,- gross per year. Students will receive an allowance of € 1.750,- gross per month during the first two years of their study and can apply for an extension to the third year after re-evaluation in the second year. To be eligible for the UTS, you need to be admitted to one of our master’s programs. The selection procedure takes place after the application deadline for admission and only for candidates that have been admitted to one of our programs.

Winners of this scholarship enjoy a full 100% tuition fee waiver as well as accommodation and visa expenses. This scholarship is awarded by the Netherlands Universities. The program is open to all international students with an excellent academic record and leadership qualities.

Holland Government Scholarships for International Students (HSP)

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP)

The Netherlands 2022 Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promotes capacity building within organizations in 51 countries by providing training and education for professionals. The NFP is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the budget for development cooperation.

With a budget of approximately 50 million euros, the NFP offers fellowships for short courses, Master’s degrees, Ph.D. studies, and Junior Staff Training to mid-career professionals. The program aims to contribute to the development of a new generation of leaders in government, civil society, and businesses who will contribute to sustainable and inclusive development in their home country.

Holland Scholarship for Non-EU/EEA Students.

This scholarship is awarded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. It is worth €5,000 for one year of study in Holland. This scholarship is available for Undergraduate, Bachelor’s Top-up, Master’s, Pre-Master’s, and Ph.D. programs.

All courses taught in English are eligible for this scholarship except Medicine and Dentistry courses.

This scholarship is only open to non-EU/EEA students. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must receive an admission offer from a Dutch university or university of applied sciences. You must also have applied through Studielink before applying for this scholarship.

Holland Scholarship for First Year Master’s Students in the Netherlands 2022: This is another scholarship offered by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.

It is worth €5,000 and is available to non-EEA students who want to study postgraduate courses in the Netherlands 2022 and would like to apply to a Dutch research university or university of applied sciences.

Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP)

Rotterdam School of Management Merit Scholarship is available to high-achieving non-EU/EEA candidates applying to any of the full-time MSc programs offered at RSM. The scholarship covers EUR 10,000 of the tuition fee.

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for and awarded this scholarship:

Applications are open for the AIAS-COFUND Fellowship Programme for International Doctoral Candidates at the University of Amsterdam, Netherland.

The AIAS-COFUND Fellowship Programme offers talented early-career researchers from all over the world the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree in one of the Amsterdam Institutes for Advanced Labour Studies (AIAS) research groups at the University of Amsterdam (UvA).

Scholarship Details:

Amount and duration of fellowship:

For a maximum of three years, each AIAS-COFUND Fellow will receive a stipend of €2,300 per month. In addition,

  • a yearly budget is available to cover costs related to
  • training,
  • research activities, and
  • conferences.

Host institute:

At least 50% of their working time should be spent on their Ph.D. research project in an AIAS research group/department at UvA. They will be supervised by an experienced senior researcher affiliated with AIAS.
