Biology, Chemistry and Physics (with Mathematics)Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Language and Literature, Environmental Sciences, French, Geography, History, Human Biology & Clinical Medicine (HBCM), Human Biology & Clinical Medicine (HBCM) with a Major in Biomedical Sciences or Social Sciences or Health and Life Sciences or Psychology & Neuroscience or Nursing and BSc Nursing with a Foundation in Pharmacy or BSc Pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria for Govt of Ireland Scholarships:

  • You must be aged between 18 and 30 years old at the time of your application.
  • You must be able to demonstrate that you have strong skills, knowledge and ability in one or more subjects.
  • You should have good English language skills.
  • You should have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4 point scale (A=4, B=3, C=2).
  • Be a citizen of a country other than Ireland.
  • Have studied at a recognized institution outside Ireland. This can be either a university, college or vocational school, but it must be outside the Republic of Ireland.
  • The student must have resided in or been ordinarily resident in the Republic of Ireland for at least 3 years prior to submitting his/her application form and provide evidence of this with his/her application form.

Documents Required to apply for Ireland Govt Scholarships:

  1. A completed application form with the necessary documents, including a passport size photograph.
  2. Transcripts or proof of qualifications from any educational institutions you have attended, or previous employment history if applicable. You may also include a copy of your passport and any other relevant official documents (e.g., birth certificate).
  3. Two testimonials from people who know you well, such as teachers or employers. These should be written in English and signed by the person giving them (notarised if possible). The testimonials must be dated within six months of the application date, and they must bear the signature of each person giving them (notarised if possible).
  4. For applicants aged 18 to 24 years old: Proof of enrolment in a university course or college course that is at least two years long; Proof that you have applied for admission to an Irish university; Proof that you have been awarded an Irish baccalaureate degree or its equivalent in another country; Proof that you have been awarded an academic distinction award by your college or university; Proof of sufficient funds for living expenses for one year
  5. Passport copy + 1

How to apply:

The application form is available in two different versions – one for students who are studying in Ireland and another for those from all over the world who wish to study in Ireland. The applicant should fill out all sections of the form before submitting it for processing.

The applicants will have to answer some questions related to their educational background, family background, financial status and other relevant information before being able to submit their application forms. After submitting all required documents, the applicants will receive an acknowledgement message from the Ireland Govt Scholarships 2023/Fully Funded Team confirming that they have been added into the database of applicants and that they can now proceed with their applications.
